Regina Leather
We source our pebble grain leather from Himeji, Japan.
Our pebble grain leather (as we call it, the manufacturer calls it Regina) is an aniline milled shrunken cowhide leather, refer to our page on Leather Phrases Explained. It has a fairly glossy appearance and will patina nicely. There is a fair bit of variation in the grain in any hide from the milling and shrinking process so often no two panels of a bag are the same. We strive to ensure that large main panels on bags look similarly but the other parts might be made up of other parts of the hide with less grain pronouncement.
